CAMARILLO , CA - The Lucix Corporation today announced that it has finalized a fully funded contract with Rockwell Collins to design and manufacture Airborne RF Modules for the FAB-T program. The value of the contract is approximately $4.5 million, and the development is well underway.
This contract involves eight unique module types, including up and down converters, trans-converters, amplifiers and phase-locked frequency sources (PLDROs). Included in this phase are all design, development, qualification, design review, and delivery activities for fully qualified, military standard airborne modules. During a previous phase, Lucix delivered Form, Fit, Function versions of certain of these modules. This sole-source contract awards the qualification and production phase of those modules to Lucix Corporation, plus two additional modules.

FAB-T Program – Rockwell Collins is under contract to Boeing for the FAB-T Program ( Family of Advanced Beyond Line-of-Site Terminals). The terminals enable protected beyond line of sight wideband satellite communications via Advanced EHF Satellite Systems and other systems such as Wideband Gapfiller. FAB-T is a Department of Defense initiative to design and develop terminals utilizing a common design and open system architecture to enable information exchange between ground, air and space platforms.
